- Summarize the story orally in 3 minutes or less

- Listen to the entire 6 minute story without taking any notes. Just concentrate on what they say and try to see if you can identify any new words.
- Listen to it a second time and listen carefully while taking notes on the details of the story
- Summarize the story in 3-5 minutes
